Chang-Ching “Susan” Hsu

Chang-Ching Hsu of Tainan City, Taiwan, was elected to a three-year term to the Kiwanis International Board of Trustees during the 2023 Asia-Pacific District Convention. She represents the Asia-Pacific region of Kiwanis International. 

A member of Kiwanis since 1995, Hsu is currently a member of the Kiwanis Club of Ying Feng, Tainan Hsein. She is also a past president of the Phoenix Kiwanis Club, for which she served as the charter president in 1996-97. At the district level, she has served as governor and lieutenant governor of the Taiwan District.

Hsu has been deeply involved in Kiwanis International’s growth efforts, helping to recruit hundreds of new members and build new clubs — including the chartering of 20 clubs in 2017-18 alone. 

A donor to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, Hsu is a Hixson Fellow and achieved major-donor status in Kiwanis International’s effort to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus. 

Outside of Kiwanis, Hsu is regional manager at Nan Shan Life Insurance Company and an adjunct lecturer at Tatung Institute of Technology. She has also been a municipal advisor to the Tainan City government. She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit organizations management from Nanhua University.

Hsu and her husband have three children, all of whom are Kiwanis club members.
