Why did you decide to run for office?
I believe wholeheartedly in Kiwanis. Running for the office is, to me, the next logical step in my service to the organization, our members and our clubs. I believe my talents and experience can be useful to Kiwanis in moving us toward our collective goals.

What qualifies you to become an officer of Kiwanis International?
My education and training, years of devoted service to Kiwanis as a club and district officer, 46 years as a manager and a journalist for a daily newspaper, and my experience as a Key Club advisor and as a parent to three daughters all qualify me for this new challenge.

How will you leave your mark on Kiwanis?
By insisting that the leadership of the organization always puts the members and the clubs first, in all our planning and decision-making.
